'Moment in Time' ethereal landscape painting is now sold thanks to the Community Pop-up Shop. The shop will be open throughout September, so please pop into High Chelmer Shopping Centre, Chelmsford and have a look around.
Is it too early to mention that original art and crafts make a wonderful Christmas gift?
I spent a wet day with friends at Newmarket yesterday. The weather was despicable. It rained pretty much all day. A real shame as we had tickets for the Premier Enclosure and had made a great effort with our attire. However, we did have a good day and a couple of winning horses. I won £18 on 'Idler' from a £3 bet. :)
After the racing, live music on stage courtesy of Steps. Yes, Steps. Not top of my list of live bands to see, but they were actually pretty good. The rain got worse and worse, everyone soaked, but Steps kept the crowd buoyant. I might need therapy to get the song 'Tragedy' out of my head now though.
Last series of sketches for The Sketchbook Project. I'm going to continue with these small landscapes on paper though as I have found them most liberating. Now to glue all the sketches into the sketchbook and post it off to its new home in The Brooklyn Library, USA. :)
I hope you are all enjoying the mini heatwave today. I'm so glad I am not going to V Festival this year. It's soooooooooo hot I fear lots of people will have sunburn and sunstroke. I will be watching the coverage on TV instead. Maybe next year ...
