A Scandinavian Style Christmas

This year I will be decorating my home with a Scandinavian inspired Christmas theme. I'm a huge fan of Scandinavian design. I love the simplicity and bold colour palette combined with rustic inspired elements. It instantly yells 'festive' to me. So, I have sorted through my collection of much loved decorations and added some new ones. I'm also making some decorations, the first being this Scandinavian inspired ribbon wreath.

If you like the idea of a Scandinavian inspired Christmas yourself, then have a look at my Pinterest board.

Chelmsford Community Pop-Up Shop

Yes, it's still going strong! After several moves and 18 months after it's conception. (It was initially only meant to be open for 2 weeks). Chelmsford Community Pop-Up Shop is still open for business! Huge thanks to High Chelmer Shopping Centre and all the artists and volunteers who make it a success.

Here is my display in the Arts & Crafts shop. Framed ethereal landscape paintings, Wish Dolls, ACEO's, wearable art and handmade Christmas cards for sale.

If you are near Market Road, Chelmsford, please pop in. Also, don't forget to visit the Vintage & Collectables shop a few doors down.

Yarndale, Skipton, Yorkshire - Part I

Yarndale, Skipton Auction Mart, Yorkshire. Saturday 28th September 2013. Festival of creativity celebrating traditional and contemporary crafts using wool, cotton, linen and silk in an area which is still the home of many yarn based businesses. It was absolute heaven!
