Inky pot

Sketched this pot in the garden whilst the sun was shining. Now we have more rain. 'Tis good for the plants though. Looking forward to receiving my new stash of coloured inks. Some exciting projects ahead.

'Drippy' sketches

At the Community Pop-up Shop, a visitor referred to my paintings 'Strands of Time' and 'End of Time' as 'the drippy paintings'. This got me thinking about using inks in a totally random way, making streaks and marks on paper to create an abstract landscape. Here are the results. :)

Exeter, Devon

Hubby and I had a lovely weekend in Exeter with friends last weekend. A trip to Sidmouth was rather wet and windswept on Saturday. In fact, it rained all weekend. Just look at the moody seascapes. We had a fantastic dinner at The Coombe Cellars in Newton Abbot on Saturday night finished off with an amazing dessert sharing platter. A super weekend with super company! :)
