Fun in Fuerteventura

Hubby and I have recently returned from a relaxing week in Fuerteventura. Fuerteventura, a Spanish island, is one of the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa. The weather and scenery was glorious. Aside from much lounging on the beach, I also visited a fabulous craft fair in the town square - full of lovely handmade art, jewellery, ceramics and other goodies.

The night that Spain won the World Cup there was much celebrating and dancing in the street. Great fun!
