Newmarket Summer Saturday Live

I spent a wet day with friends at Newmarket yesterday. The weather was despicable. It rained pretty much all day. A real shame as we had tickets for the Premier Enclosure and had made a great effort with our attire. However, we did have a good day and a couple of winning horses. I won £18 on 'Idler' from a £3 bet. :)

After the racing, live music on stage courtesy of Steps. Yes, Steps. Not top of my list of live bands to see, but they were actually pretty good. The rain got worse and worse, everyone soaked, but Steps kept the crowd buoyant. I might need therapy to get the song 'Tragedy' out of my head now though.
