Activate Spring Show Private View

Last night I attended the private view of Activate's Spring Show at Chelmsford Library Gallery. I have four paintings on display for the duration of the exhibition. These are from my ethereal landscape collection entitled 'Minimal Light', 'Timeless Mood', 'Frozen' and 'Into Infinity - Diptych'.

It was a lovely evening (with wine and nibbles) and a great chance to catch up with other Activate members and look at their new work. The exhibition runs until Wednesday 24th March 2010. View further photos from the exhibition on Facebook.

  2. Awwh, thank you. The whole exhibition is great, really varied. Paintings, sketchbooks, collage, pottery and even puppets!

  3. An impressive display Andrea, good luck with it. I'm interested to know about that hanging arrangement, how does that work then? Is it a chord with perhaps an 'S' hook tied into it somehow? The pics look nicely lined up and level.

  4. I can't take credit for hanging that exhibition but the gallery has two types of hanging system - one is a metal rod with a hook on with a lock and the other an S hook on a wire. Both quite effective and you can adjust them. :)
