'Earth's Diurnal Course' - NEW ethereal landscape painting

'Earth's Diurnal Course' is the latest addition to my ethereal landscape collection. Created in oil/ink on 762 x 762 mm deep edge box canvas. No motion has she now, no force; she neither hears nor sees; rolled around in earth's diurnal course, with rocks, and stones, and trees.

I've been experimenting with a more muted palette of late. Inspired by reading 'Monet in the 20th Century' and a contunuation of the subtle tones used in some of my coastal landscape and work on paper collections. I've also been inspired by certain poetry and song lyrics.
