The British Museum, London

After the RA exhibitions, hubby and I made a fleeting visit to The British Museum on Saturday afternoon. Clearly a popular London tourist attraction as the museum was very crowded. Mixed with being very hot, our tired feet only made it as far as looking at some of the Ancient Greece antiquities and treasures. It's amazing to see how old these exhibits are; surviving many wars, the test of time, and somehow finding their way from their country of origin to a glass cabinet in a London museum.

I particularily liked the small figurative Greek vessels pictured below.

Easy to spend all day at The British Museum, so we plan to return very soon for a thorough visit.
